Senior Citizens of Patagonia

Senior Citizens of Patagonia, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves and supports seniors age 60+ and disabled of any age in the communities of Patagonia, Sonoita and Elgin. We serve well-balanced and nutritious lunches to qualified registrants at the Patagonia Senior Center, 100 Quiroga Lane, Patagonia, weekdays at noon. This service is donation-based as is our 2-van transportation service, designated primarily for medical appointments in surrounding communities.

Our transportation service includes a Dodge Caravan and Ford mini-bus with wheelchair lift. Both are available to seniors and disabled Monday through Friday by appointment made at least one week in advance. All of our drivers are volunteer. We transport clients from Sierra Vista to Nogales to Tucson.

We are funded in part by SEAGO, ADOT, Santa Cruz Community Foundation, Patagonia Regional Community Foundation and individual donors. We conduct several fundraisers each year to help sustain our programs, which are essential to the health and well-being of hundreds of residents in our rural communities.

Transportation appointments can be made by calling 520-394-2494. If you would like to participate as a volunteer driver, please contact Heather Dodge, Executive Director, at 520-732-0598.
