No Motel 6—But Plenty of Hospitality

Patagonia, Sonoita, and Elgin offer a surprisingly large number of overnight accommodations and unique lodging. Experience the charm and local hospitality of one of our many bed and breakfasts—complete with gourmet morning meals. Make your stay eclectic in a 1950s Airstream or distinctive cottage. Reserve a room at a full service hotel or luxury inn. Or if you seek beauty and quiet on the rambling acres of a Southern Arizona ranch, consider the historic Circle Z Ranch or Spirit Tree Inn, each of which offer casita-style lodging in a ranch setting.

Attractive and quiet, the Studio Gallery and Lodging is a comfortable, in-town getaway for one or two adults. Located in an artist's home, this charming accommodation provides a relaxing stay in the shadow of trees and Red Mountain and is within walking distance of Patagonia's shops and restaurants, yet private enough for a peaceful escape.

Furnished with antiques and many fine paintings, the Studio Gallery and Lodging is perfect for those who appreciate surroundings that integrate aesthetics with the comforts of home. During your stay, enjoy the art of proprietor Jill Babcock, a local artist well-known for her watercolor and oil paintings, as well as her prints. You can also enjoy the menagerie of birds that flock to the garden, or you can head to the Nature Conservancy's Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve, located only a short distance away.

Come and go as you please via a separate entrance to a bed/sitting room with a king-sized bed. Amenities include a private bathroom with a large shower, linens, towels, coffee, tea, a refrigerator, microwave, pure drinking water (reverse osmosis), a VCR and air-conditioned comfort during the warm summer months, with optional central heating and two electric heaters in winter. Off street parking has space for a car or two and/or boat, and there is a covered patio area for outdoor sitting and bicycle storage if required. Phone is available on request and limited maid service is provided.
