Circle Z Ranch Circle Z Ranch is an old-time ranch adventure. From the moment you arrive, you feel a sense of stepping back in time. Guests have ridden Circle Z's ranch-bred horses through the foothills of the Santa Rita mountains and along the ever-flowing Sonoita Creek for 80 years. Guests at Circle Z ride, relax, and recharge...unplugged. Circle Z Ranch is internationally known for bird watching, and nationally recognized for two, registered Champion Big Trees: the Freemont Cottonwood, which measures 42 feet in circumference, and the Velvet Ash, the largest species growing in America. The 6,500 acre ranch's terrain is rich in variety, and is bordered by the Coronado National Forest, Nature Conservancy's Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Nature Preserve, Patagonia Lake State Park, and other large cattle ranchesmaking it a private paradise. The historic adobe buildings and cottages in this rustic, ranch getaway offer guests quiet accommodations, gourmet dining, and a variety of outdoor activities. Amenities include horseback riding, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and more. The Circle Z Ranch is open from October 29 - May 7, and requires a three-night minimum stay.
