Rev Up Your Taste Buds

Early pioneers may have existed on beans, bread, and beef, but today our towns boast multiple cuisines that satisfy nearly every palette. From gourmet pizza and regional recipes to down home breakfasts and hearty soups and sandwiches, the restaurants of Patagonia, Sonoita, and Elgin serve up creative dishes at reasonable prices.

Dining Room Hours: Monday - Sunday: 6:00am - 9:00pm

This comfortable dining room, located in the Stage Stop Hotel, is where the town meets for home cooking. With a well rounded menu and an open mesquite grill, consider ordering the succulent ribs or a burger the way burgers are meant to be: big and juicy. There is a great appetizer menu that includes jalapeno poppers and plenty of salad options for the lighter eater.

For the early riser, start the day with a hearty breakfast. Many omelette combinations are on the menu served up with homemade homefries.

The decor is classic cowboy with warm wood paneling and a handsome wagon now being used as the sald bar. The Home Plate Restaurant is a Patagonia institution and one that should not be missed.
