This year will feature twenty-five notable writers from the region, many of whom
have new books since last year's Round-Up. All will have books for sale and will
be present to talk with readers. This book festival has something for everyone,
featuring fiction, poetry, history, natural history, mystery, westerns, and children's
literature.
A number of children's book writers will be with us, among them Roni Capin Ashford-Rivera,
whose Hip,Hip,Hooray, It's Monsoon Day! is a OneBookArizona choice for
2009. Ashford-Rivera will read during the afternoon, as well as several other
writers, on a schedule
to be announced.
